EN – We’re still recovering from our first major communications action: the distribution by ‘newspaper boys’ of our ‘Flanders Fields Post’. History, interviews, articles on what to see in Flanders, even ads fill this 24p commemorative publication. Distribution of the 115.000 copies in 3 versions (UK, Ireland and North America) was organized in Manchester, Glasgow, London, Dublin, Toronto, Halifax and Brussels, all on the 4^th of August, marking the beginning of the Centenary. Press was invited to pick up this action, and responded well at both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. And while the pics below show fresh and dynamic paper boys, our own team by contrast showed signs of utter exhaustion… but we did it!

NL – We zijn nog altijd aan het bekomen van onze eerste grote communicatie-actie: de distributie van onze ‘Flanders Fields Post’ door ‘echte’ krantenjongens. Geschiedenis, interviews, artikels over de herdenking in Vlaanderen en zelfs advertenties vullen onze 24 blz tellende gelegenheidskrant. De distributie van 115.000 exemplaren in drie versies (UK, Ierland en Noord-Amerika) gebeurde in Manchester, Glasgow, London, Dublin, Toronto, Halifax en Brussel, allemaal op de 4^de augustus, het begin van de Centenary. Overal werd de pers uitgenodigd om te berichten over deze actie, en we kregen goede respons aan beide zijden van de Atlantische oceaan. De foto’s hierna tonen frisse en dynamische krantenjongens – ons eigen team daarentegen naderde de totale uitputting… maar we hebben het voor mekaar gekregen!
